Nicki Jaine will be performing with Jill Tracy in San Francisco and LA this month. The two artists performed together in North Carolina at The Eccentrik Festival last year and are thrilled to be sharing the stage again.

Revue Noir is the dramatic collaboration between dark cabaret chanteuse Nicki Jaine and Black Tape for a Blue Girl leader Sam Rosenthal. Their recent release, Anthology Archive, features both live and studio recordings and is now available through Projekt.

Last month, Nicki Jaine performed a special musical saw set with Natalia Lincoln at the First Annual Dances of Vice Festival. The event was absolutely exquisite from beginning to end. It was truly an unforgettable occasion! This month Nicki Jaine and accordionist extraordinaire Ray Ashley will be performing in two Mélange Theatre Live variety shows which will both feature a wonderfully eclectic selection of performing artists.

This month, Nicki Jaine will perform an intimate, one-hour solo show in the swank lounge of the Westin, make an appearance on WHYY, perform in a fabulous Melange Theatre cabaret show and make a special guest appearance at the Beru Revue Christmas Benefit Concert. On November 8th, Nicki Jaine will be performing at a 106th Birthday Celebration for Marlene Dietrich in New Hope, PA. Nicki Jaine will perform a selection of Dietrich songs; the set will include the most well known & beloved songs performed by Dietrich as well as few amazing & more obscure pieces. Mary Bichner, of Box Five, will be making a special guest appearance as Edith Piaf & there will be a very unique musical saw rendition of "happy birthday" performed. Nicki Jaine will be performing a night of music at The Philadelphia Museum of Art on 08.03.07. Later in the month, she will be joining Black Tape for a Blue Girl, Tearwave, Unto Ashes & Voltaire to perform at Projektfest 2007!

Nicki Jaine & Ray Ashley have been invited to perform at the Kimmel Center Summer Solstice Celebration, an all day and all night annual musical extravaganza taking place at the home of the illustrious Philadelphia Orchestra. They will also be performing at “Gorgeous”, quite the swank event showcasing the crème de la crème of creative arts & design including make up artists, jewelry designers, models, visual artists, fashion designers, musicians, photographers and dancers. The last show of the month will be a variety show hosted by the Absinthe Drinkers at the beautiful French Cabaret, L’Etage,…musical acts, burlesque dancers…it promises to be quite the night.

Projektfest '07

Nicki Jaine has been invited to perform at Projetkfest '07 as part of the Blacksun Festival. The festival, which runs August 10th-12th, is an annual Gothic and Industrial music event. It features top bands in the genre, DJs from around the world, an art show, a fashion show, hotel room parties, and much much more. The three-day summer festival spans multiple venues in beautiful New Haven, CT.

Nicki, Ray, Brian Viglione & Paul Dilley performed Iron Maiden's "Run to the Hills" (link1, link2) & Deep Purple's "Smoke on the Water" at the show...the instrumentation: musical saw, accordion, upright bass & Brian's driving drums...

Electro Industrial band, Brainclaw, and Nicki Jaine have created an unforgettable reimagining of Gordon Lightfoot's classic Seventies ballad, "The Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald." Also appearing on the song is the wildly-talented Kyle Cassidy, with a blistering guitar execution that blends perfectly with Brainclaw's signature electronics.
